A Lover's Dismay

He waited eagerly, 
For he thought-
She would cross his path
Like before.
All through out the day-
Just wishing 
To hear from her,
Counting stars at night,
Making secret wishes...
Days passed,
Weeks rolled by,
And at last-
His wish was rewarded;
At the end of the month-
A message flashed;
'She is no more,'
Her mother wrote...
He screamed in pain,
For he knew-
She would never cross his path again...

A Miracle

                                   

She tried to persuade herself, 

For she knew-

She was never his choice.

Yet she could not-

For she loved him deeply;

Without knowing the reason 

Of her choice.

She knew he would never reciprocate;

But still deep within-

She wished for a miracle...

                                                   

I wonder

I do sometimes wonder

If ever you turn the pages of your life;

sometimes in future-

Will you stop at my corner?

Have I been able to create any memory?

In the pages of the present.

If any,

Will you recall me?

With smile

Or, in silence

Will you turn the page?

I wonder-

Have I given you any such reason?

Hope

As morning rays fall-
on the window pane,
I see the hope of sun rising,
Another day, another way
To express my feelings...
For someone-
My heart beats...
The rain drops whisper;
Hardly does he care?
the wind passing by-
Mocks at me...
I look at the far away horizon,
Hoping for a miracle-
Deep inside my heart...
